The export will be for a 2022 project will potentially be used in a project that will air on a local PBS station. From reading other threads here I know that a Mac is not ideal for capturing and I plan to get a PC in the not too distant future but need to capture about 60min worth of video from a 20year old documentary project within the next couple of weeks for a separate documentary project and am looking for a way in which to do that. I had been using iMovie 10.3.1 - seems fine enough for the tapes with 16bit audio. What I am at a loss over is how can I capture this footage the simplest way without the Video Audio sync issue? Through posts on here I realized that my sync issues were due to the Camera settings from 2001 (12 bit audio, LP mode).
